Multi Memo Board using Xyron

Howdy !, quick post today to share a multi purpose notice board that I made a few weeks ago for my daughters room.  It has a mini whiteboard, chalkboard, pinboard, Post It's and clips.  It is super quick and easy to make.

Supplies

Kaisercraft Twelve Frame Photo Display
Scraps of other papers from my stash
Pegs, clips, pens

Lets get started

Mark the inside spaces of the frame and then separate from the base, paint the frame with your choice of colour, I opted for black spray.

Use the markings to measure your cut outs and play around with the layout

Once you decide where you want to place the different pieces, measure and cut them and run the DCWV Whiteboard, DCWV Chalkboard and paper scraps through the Xyron 5" Creative Station

For the cork (which is quite thin) I mounted it onto a piece of very thick cork (tablemat from IKEA!) this gives more depth to hold the pins.

(Do not stick the cork down yet)

Put all the sections in place, once the frame is glued in place then push add the cork segment

Glue small pegs to the frame facing downwards to hold the clips

Cover the whiteboard and chalk pens in white paper first to hide the print on them, them wrap with some matching washi tape

Glue large pegs on the top corners to hold the pens, decorated the pegs with some washi tape.

Add little elements to the other segments if you wish, I put mini Post It's on mine

A calendar is always handy

  1. That is SOOOOO Awesome. I love how it turned out. I really like the clips at the bottom. I kept thinking hook keys on to it and put something like this in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing,
