Xyron Blog Hop with Petaloo International and Core'dinations

Ohhhh yeah, I am sooooo in crafting heaven right now !!. This week the Xyron Design Team get to partner with two beyond fantastic crafting companies Petaloo International and Core'dinations eeek!.

For my projects I have made a cute little birdhouse and a card.  There is a picture tutorial for you to follow for the birdhouse, it's so simple to make.  By using embossing folders and the Core'dinations card stock you will achieve amazing textured effects, the Petaloo International range of flowers give your projects the WOW factor and of course used together with Xyron adhesives your projects will rock!.

Let's get started!

Cut a strip of Core'dinations that is the width of the folder and twice a long. Fold in the middle and then emboss both sides.

Run through the Xyron 5" Creative Station

Line the roof top along the centre fold line

 Sip away the corners before folding in the edges

Make sure that the paper is tucked in tight along the inside edge

 Cut out the front and back cover pieces of the birdhouse, use the birdhouse as a template. Run through the Xyron 9" Creative Station.

Now for my favourite part, distress !

To cover the sides measure and cut two strips of matching Core'dinations and emboss and distress.  Run these through the Xyron 5" Creative Station.

Now for the embellishments, Using the Ink pads follow the sequence below, don't be too particular, distressed is good!

 Arrange your Petaloo flowers on the front of the Birdhouse, you can use the Xyron Mega Runner or Xyron Glue Dots

 Add the birdies

Ta Dah! Finished!
