My Writing Process Blog Tour ! ( and an amazing giveaway)

Thank you my fabulous friend Beth Kingston for nominating me for this exciting blog
tour on your Ain't She Crafty blog.  It is an honour to be nominated and be part of this
exciting tour.  I am spreading the love and nominating some one of my crafty friends
as the next stops on this tour so say hi to Tracy Crafty and I hope you will enjoy her
creativity as much as I do. More information on Tracy at the end of this post

1. What am I working on?
At the moment I am in 'Christmas' crafting mode !.  I am surrounded by fantastic
new products launching soon with Crafter's Companion and of course using my Xyron
products to bring my projects together.  I am also working in Summer time mode on my
Xyron DT projects so it's a very confusing time for me lol. Outside of my 'work',
Some personal projects I am working on are a mural for a local school depicting the
four seasons but typical Irish weather has delayed the process and it's very frustrating,
there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I am at the finishing touches stage, then I will
have my weekends back. The another projects are sketches and some needle crafts but
the big project is my house !!!,  Can someone send me over Ty Pennington for a week :)

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Ohhhh this is a tough question !!!, I would say for 50% of the time it mirrors everyone
else who crafts either for a pastime or as a career.  The other 50% is the more serious
side of the business which includes product development, tv show prep and the
responsibility as Design Team Manager for two fabulously talented design teams for
Crafter's Companion UK.  The buck stops here so as well as creating samples for
magazines, TV and promotions I have to ensure that the DT's are doing theirs too and
bringing everything together is a huge responsibility but I LOVE it! and I get to travel too!!.
Then of course is the sales arm of the industry and I am the Republic of Ireland Area
Manager for Crafter's Companion UK, soooI guess that is a point of difference also.

3. Why do I write what I do?
I hold my hands up and admit that I am not comfortable blogging personal everyday
eventsbut I really admire those who do and enjoy reading how others are living their
lives.  I made a conscious decision when I started my blog to stick to 'craft business'
posts, who knows in the future I might get brave and share more than just my work.
Looks like this post is the start :)

4. How does my writing process work?
I have a system for my posts now and it effects how I photograph and plan my layout.
I keep my tutorials simple and let my photo's to do the talking.  The downside is that I
can be quite slow in blogging as I tend to add and takeaway lots of info before publishing
my posts.

Tracey has always crafted in one way or another, but got into paper crafting over 15 years ago.
Her main passion is colouring with my Spectrum Noirs, but she enjoys any form of paper
crafting, She is also into mixed media, sewing, painting & home decor....anything that
she can add my own style to.
She says that she feels very lucky to be part of some fantastic design teams including
Crafter's Companion & Visible image,  and has a extremely understanding & creative
partner. She only started blogging 2 years ago and has made some lovely friends though
