Triple Function Notice board using the new Xyron Double Sided High Tack Tape

Ohhh! I love new products and I love them even more when they come from Xyron.  They have really outdone themselves this time with their new range of Double-Sided High Tack Tape and High Tack Adhesive Dots.  I have been creating using the 1/2" (12mm) Double Sided High Tack Tape and have made a triple purpose notice board !.

New Xyron Double-Sided High Tack Tape

Xyron’s New Double-Sided High Tack Tape is as strong as red liner tape, infamous for holding anything into place. It works well on heavy cardstock, paper arts, card making and much more. It can be torn easily and comes in a disposable dispenser. This unique package design not only protects the tape’s integrity but also aids in clean application. Use Xyron High Tack Double-Sided Tape when you need the strongest hold with the least amount of fuss. It is sold in two different sizes that are acid free and photo safe. The compact dispenser holds 29 feet of ¼ inch or ½ inch tape.

This tape is super multi functional and on my project I have used Cork, Plastic, Canvas, Paper and chalkboard card.

Triple Function Memory Board

DCWV Chalkboard Stack
docrafts 'Happy Days' Stack and embellishments
Cork Place mat from IKEA
12 x 16 Canvas from Art Supply Shop

How it's Made

Place strips of the Double Sided High Tack Tape around the edges of the canvas and across the centre from corner to corner.

Press the canvas face down onto the cork place mat

Trim away the excess cork

Instant cork notice board!!!!

On the right side of the board I am going to create a chalkboard.

Using the Double Sided High Tack Tape adhere a sheet of 8 x 12 patterned paper to the cork board

Layer a piece of the DCWV Chalkboard stack on top, angled slightly

To create a frame for the cork board portion, die cut the centre of a piece of 8 x 12 patterned paper leaving a 1" border

Apply the Double Sided High Tack Tape around the edges

Adhere the frame to the left side of the board

Just for decoration and to cover the edges of the cork I trimmed around the edges with some washi tape

To make the third portion of the board I laminated two 'Happy Days' large journal cards

Trim around the journal cards leaving a 3mm edge

Apply some Double Sided High Tack Tape to the rear of the laminated journal cards

Stick on the front of the notice board in the middle

To finish I added a 'remember' topper and some embellishments

So there you have a quick and snappy triple function notice board using the new Xyron Double Sided High Tack Tape.  Don't forget to check out the new range of tapes and sticky dots at Xyron
