Spooky Wreath for Halloween using Xyron

I'll be the first to admit that I am not a big fan of Halloween, I'm a big sissy when it comes to mummies and witches.  For my two projects this week I kept them low on the fear factor scale and they are projects that are quick to make and easy for the kids to get involved with too.  Today's project is a wreath.

Boo! Wreath

Supplies

Teresa Collins Xyron Liquid Adhesive
Core'dinations Cardstock
Silhouette Cameo
Halloween Silhouette by Patty Young #67125
Boo with Spooky Lace by Kolette Hall / Lori Whitlock #67075
Bat Silhouette by Sarah Hurley #31577
Foam Wreath
Burlap Wrap

How it's Made

Spray or paint the wreath form, if you use a solvent based paint the foam will dissolve a little, this wont matter as it will be covered with the burlap.

Hold the end of the wrap in place using the Xyron Mega Runner

Using the same burlap, wrap a length around the wreath and into a bow

Using the Silhouette Cameo and the cutting files, cut lots of bats and two big 'Boo', one is a mat and the other a layer.

Distress the mat

Run the layer through the Xyron 9" Creative Station

Add the layer to the mat

To stick the 'Boo' to the wreath use the Xyron Mega Runner

Fold up the Bat wings and distress some of them, use the Teresa Collins Xyron liquid glue to attach randomly around the wreath

Cut the Halloween Silhouette layers, distress layer 1 and run through the Xyron 9" Creative Station

Layer together and using the Xyron Mega Runner place adhesive all round the edge, or you could have run the mat through the Xyron 9" Creative Station and with the adhesive side up, layer on the Silhouette and then place under the wreath.

The finished wreath
