Xyron and Doodlebug Design Blog Hop

Ohhh! gotta play with Doodlebug this week!, and it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!!, yep I said the 'C' word!!!.  Doodlebug's range of papers and embellishments go together with Xyron perfectly and I had fun altering an old tray into a wall hanging and then I made a fun gift wallet!.

I love the 'All Occasions' range of papers, 'Home for the Holidays' Icons stickers and I love how easy it is to create with Xyron Adhesive Products.

How it's made

Found this battered wooden tray, I like the chipped paint effect so I didn't repaint.

Measure and cut the backing paper and place put to one side while you glitter the edges of the tray

Place a strip of the Xyron Double Sided High Tack Tape around the edge of the tray

Now for the fun bit, brush some glitter into the tape all around the edge, the high tack tape will hold the glitter perfectly

To cover the base run your cut base pieces through the Xyron Creatopia

then cover the base of your tray

Now we are going to layer co-ordinating papers into the centre of the tray, starting with the circle print paper, cut to size and inked around the edges with red ink

Again run the papers through the Xyron Creatopia

To decorate (and cover the damaged corner of the tray), I made a semi circle fan by folding a strip of left over patterned paper

I embellished the fan with the Doodlebug Icons stickers, some ribbon and a bow button that I snuck out of my daughters room shhhhh!!

I added more of the Doodlebug icon Stickers and some flat back gems using the Xyron High Tack Adhesive Dots
