Happy St. Patrick's Day (but not just yet!)

Its the one day of the year when everybody claims they have an Irish connection or wishes they had!.  Round here they are busy planning the parades, the children are practicing their moves and the costumes and floats are well on their way to completion.  I like to send cards to mark the occasion to my friends and family in all corners of the world, but I do get ever so slightly irritated when it comes to buying supplies to make them.  I have noticed this trend of companies using the clover motif instead of the Shamrock.  The clover has absolutely nothing, nada, zilch to do with St Patrick yet it is marketed on so many things.  Just have a look on the Internet and see what I mean.  So as an true Irish person who was bred, born and reared here on this emerald isle, please please please you fab design companies get it right this year and bring on the SHAMROCK!.

So here is a card I made in honour of St Patrick's.  I used the DCWV Lemon Flower Stack and some Irish novelty buttons, lace and ribbons.  All stuck together using my Xyron Creatopia and X.  To see more of this fabulous stack take a look at my Yummy Stacks page.
