Assembly
I am only using the front cover of the album and one of the pages for this project. Starting with the cover run it through the Xyron Creative Station.
Place adhesive side down onto the reverse of your chosen papers and using a sharp craft knie cut away the excess paper.
Don't worry about being too precise in the cutting because you can use a file to remove any paper that sticks around, this also helps blend the paper edge.
When filed then lightly ink the edges and using a black fine nib pen add faux stitching around the edges.
For the top layer repeat the process of applying adhesive and paper, sand and ink the edges also. Run the piece back through the Xyron Creative Station to apply adhesive to the reverse.
Layer over the base (Looking cute already)
To cover the hooped frame cut two contrasting pieces of paper, run them through the Xyron 3" disposable sticker maker and apply to the front of the wooden pieces, again cut away the excess paper and use a file to neaten up the edges, add a little ink before running the pieces back through the sticker maker and then adding to the project.
To finish cut and assemble the Florartistry Fabulous Folding Flower, this carnation was cut from fabric and the foliage from the Florartistry Perfect Petals Papers.
Add the resin bird and embellishments.
