How it's made
Using the Double sided tape cover the front and sides of the canvas.
Measure and cut your paper to size and place it face down on a flat surface. Place the canvas face down on the paper and press firmly.
Remove the waxed paper from the tape and cut paper edges in preparation for folding round the corners of the canvas.
Press the sides with the tabs down first and then other sides to cover the tabs.
Ink all around the edges, I have used white. Later when dried rub a little gilding wax over it.
I also inked the burlap !
I used a bottle cap with some liquid glue and dabbed it around the canvas, sprinkled on the embossing powder and then rubbed some Ranger Liquid Pearls in the centre of each circle.
The doilie is die cut from tissue using the Chantilly Lace Frame Die and run through the Xyron 5" Create a Sticker. Run two strips of the Hight Tack Double Sided across the front of the canvas and place the burlap across, folding (Use more tape to hold the folds). Fray the edges.
I aged the chipboard bird and cage using the ink pads and the gilding wax.
I layered up the birdcage and elements together, the Xyron Glue Dots are perfect for holding flowers and other embellishments in place.
The Ranger Liquid Pearls add another dimension.
The finished project !!
Wow, so pretty! Thanks
